FEA believes in live long learning. We continually offer relevant, quality, and meaningful professional development. The PD that FEA offers is usually member led and developed based on the recommendations from our over 900 members.

Spring of 2018

Over 125 members attended 18 different sectionals presented on Saturday mornings. FEA, with the assistance of NEA, provided refreshments. Many of the members took advantage of the 1-Credit UAA 500 level course offering.

Fall 2018

Teaching and Learning developed a cohort of educators that are interested Alaska Native Culture through sewing and crafting. In September the group meet and made traditional Kuspuks. Take a look at the day in pictures HERE.

Opportunity to demonstrate Google Suite mastery in Fall Blended Learning offering

Fall 2018

FEA, with the help of NEA, will be offering Blended Learning sessions for UAA 1-Credit 500 Level when working with our own Google Certificated Trainer to complete the Level 1 Google Certified Educator material.

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and development outside the normal classroom observation process.
